5 Reasons I love Cruises!

1.     Payment Plans

When you book a cruise, you can pretty much pay for everything in payments before you l. You will be required to pay a small deposit when you initially book, but sometimes the cruise company does a deal where there are no deposit fees. I love the fact that I can make payments on my cruise months before leaving. I remember, I worked extra jobs over the summer and would gradually make payments on my cruise the following January. Within 3 months, I had paid off the cruise, purchased excursions, made a spa appointment (pre-paid), ordered extra water bottles for the room and even threw some extra money on my cruise account.

2.     All Inclusive

Your cruise ship is basically a floating mobile resort that drops you off at multiple locations to explore the land. Lodging, food, transportation, entertainment and onboard activities are all included in the price of your cruise. You can even add on unlimited alcoholic beverages to make your onboard experience that much better. The food is also unlimited outside of the specialty restaurants, which cost a small fee to dine at. If you go to dinner or brunch in the dining room, you can order multiple items off of the menu.

 3.     Activities

The staff in charge of entertainment on these cruises do a great job. Every day you will get a schedule about events, contest and classes they have available that day. Typical cruise activities include dance parties, sports, dance contest, art auctions, musical productions, comedy shows, animal towel folding class, informational seminars about destinations, and much more. If you are traveling with children, there is also a kid’s camp available to keep them entertained throughout the day.

4.     Affordable

It is my belief that cruises are one of the most affordable vacations you can take. Carnival Cruise has cruises from $59 per person per day. With that price you get lodging, onboard activities, entertainment, food, and transportation. If you are traveling with children, cruises run specials where your kids travel for free. Cruises also offer a variety of lodging options so if you wanted to have a more luxurious experience that is available to you as well.

 5.     Variety of Choices

You can cruise to just about any place that’s near the water which means you have a lot of choices when it comes to what type of cruise you want to take. Cruise lengths can be anywhere from overnight cruises to 6-month cruises around the world. There are themed cruises, concert cruises, musical cruises, river cruises, Alaskan cruises, adventure cruises, Mediterranean cruises and so much more.  You are sure to find a cruise company that fits your style of vacation.
